Our services range from conducting “shop-closure” sale events, to “surplus liquidations for the ongoing needs of your continuing business”.

Our chosen strategy may be customized for the situation and will be the result of collaboration and consultation with our customer so that the most satisfactory results are achieved.

Frequently used strategies may include: complete inventory buyout, guaranteed sale, commission sale, or liquidation of surplus equipment as deemed appropriate.

Depending on the project, we can offer on-site or online auctions through highly successful online auction platforms or through experienced and reputable professional auctioneers that specialize in manufacturing equipment.

We’ll coordinate with you to handle everything onsite and offsite to lift this time-consuming process off your shoulders while working to support your ongoing needs, meet target dates, or terms of completion.

We’ll also be there post-sale, to handle disbursement of sold items, coordination and scheduling of trucking, rigging, or other outside services, and also to ensure the site is picked up afterward.

If needed, we can also arrange removal and relocation of the assets to off-site storage facilities at the new owner’s expense.

Liquidation:

Liquidation can offer great advantages in helping companies to be more efficient, to modernize, and even just to “clean house” so that accumulated equipment can find new homes.

It’s important that they are carefully administered so the liquidation activity does not detract too much from keeping production in motion.

With this understanding, we work to achieve great results while keeping the interruptions to a minimum.

Because each circumstance is different, we evaluate each project carefully to achieve best possible results in the most cost-conscious manner, while employing a very straightforward approach with clear objectives.

Blandon’s many years in the industry as a CNC Machinist, Shop Manager, and Equipment Sales Engineer, have equipped him to evaluate most types of metalworking equipment for trade-in or other sales-related purposes.

TRM has also joined forces with other certified appraisers to help provide both Fair Market Value Appraisals and Liquidation Value Appraisals (for auction).

To address “bias or conflict of interest issues,” we will typically outsource these services to excellent ASA / USPAP certified, and AMEA appraisers who possess decades of experience and in-depth knowledge to properly perform Forced Liquidation, Orderly Liquidation, or Fair Market Value appraisals for all forms of Machinery, Equipment, and Inventory, which are relied upon for asset-based lending, and business, and tax decisions.
